A longtime fixture in retail, but completely new to online commerce, Dollar General asked our team to launch their online store and promote it across print and digital channels.
Our challenge went beyond the creation of a new store. The audience we were serving was heavily reliant on brick and mortar locations for their needs due to a variety of factors. When developing our site concepts, we saw the need to shift our target to an existing online base, focusing on an experience that highlighted value, convenience, and brand selection. To promote Dollar General’s bulk products, we developed a manifesto-driven marketing program featuring a significant Facebook presence, video, display, and a soft landing on the commerce site.
